R&D Director

For one of our clients, a Global ICT Solutions provider, we are looking for a highly qualified director who will be leading a freshly built laboratory at the forefront of AI LLM and Network development in Leman Lake region.

Responsibilities:

Leading a team and work with research colleagues and academic partners to achieve key accomplishments in computing network system research.

Conduct research on designing network topology for AI LLM, cloud computation and high performance computation

Plan the top-level architecture and key technologies of next-gen data center networks, optical and electrical hybrid networks

Optimize the performance of parallel computing systems, especially large-scale AI clusters, for the integration of network, computing, and storage systems

Lead international conferences, presenting ongoing developments and future directions on networking systems design for AI computation

Profile:

The ideal candidate will have a PhD in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Automation, Mathematics or Physics

More than 10 years of research experience in high-performance data center network architecture or Parallel Computing

Team management and cross-cultural communication skills

Have in-depth research experience in the field of modern network technology or high-performance interconnection

Be familiar with the RDMA protocol system, have an in-depth understanding of the data center networks technology evolution and industry progress, and have relevant research achievements and successful practices.

Be proficient in performance and efficiency optimization of parallel computing systems

Have a business background of distributed deep learning, be familiar with the infrastructure and key technologies of large-scale training/inference
