In this role you will provide expert guidance on executive compensation and benefits for C-suite clients within J.P. Morgan Private Advisory. You will partner with private bank advisors, legal, tax, and HR to design, benchmark, and implement programs. You’ll scale the practice through tools, frameworks, and education, and contribute to thought leadership and client communications. You will stay ahead of regulatory changes affecting Section 409A, 280G and disclosures. This role offers the opportunity to shape strategies for both private and public companies and drive impact across the advisory team.
Responsabilités
- Address complex executive compensation and benefits matters with C-suite executives and their advisors
- Design, implement, and optimize executive compensation programs with benchmarking and regulatory alignment
- Scale advisory capabilities by equipping Private Bank advisors with tools and frameworks
- Contribute to strategy and growth of the executive compensation practice through process improvements and innovation
- Present insights at internal and external forums to share best practices
- Collaborate with Private Bank training to educate advisors on concepts and regulatory considerations
- Develop thought leadership pieces, white papers, and client communications on market trends
- Research emerging trends and regulatory developments in executive compensation for both public and private companies
- Coordinate with legal, tax, HR, and investment specialists to address regulatory and financial objectives
- Serve as a technical resource on 409A, 280G, SEC disclosures, and related regulations
Principales exigences
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; 8+ years of experience in executive compensation and benefits
- Deep knowledge of executive compensation structures, equity and incentive plans, and regulatory frameworks
- Strong research skills with ability to publish findings on compensation topics
- Ability to work independently and in teams; high work ethic and multitasking capability
- Excellent written and verbal communication with high attention to detail
- Strong listening and questioning skills for strategic advisory
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
- Willingness to travel 20-30%
- Experience with private company compensation structures preferred
- Experience with national law, accounting, or financial services firms preferred
