In this 100% remote Tax Manager role, you will lead tax compliance, planning, and reporting for the organization. You will oversee the preparation of federal, state, and local returns and drive ASC 740 tax provisions, working with a distributed team and external advisors. You’ll identify tax-saving opportunities and support business goals through M&A tax structuring and strategic analyses. You will partner with finance, treasury, legal, and operations to improve processes and controls, enabling efficient, compliant tax leadership. This is an opportunity to shape tax strategy in a remote, collaborative environment with senior leaders.

Responsabilités

  • Oversee preparation and review of federal, state, and local income tax returns
  • Drive month-end and year-end tax provision processes under ASC 740
  • Coordinate examinations and correspondence with tax authorities and external counsel
  • Develop and execute tax strategies to minimize liabilities and support business goals
  • Provide due diligence and tax structuring for mergers and acquisitions
  • Present tax analyses, memos, and reports to senior leadership
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop a distributed team of tax professionals
  • Implement tax technology and controls to increase efficiency
  • Partner with finance, treasury, legal, and operations virtually

Principales exigences

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required
  • Minimum 5+ years of progressive corporate or public tax experience
  • Proven leadership in supervising tax staff in hybrid/remote environment
  • Deep knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and ASC 740
