Join Wonder's Robotics-driven Backend team to build the 'brains' of automated restaurants. You will design and maintain real-time, distributed Elixir-based systems that orchestrate order lifecycles and coordinate cloud-to-on-premise robotics. Collaborating with frontend, robotics, and QA engineers, you’ll deliver reliable, scalable software that impacts thousands of diners. This role offers hands-on work with cutting-edge automation in a fast-growing food-tech platform.

Responsabilités

Develop Elixir applications to manage order processing and real-time event handling
Ensure high uptime and reliability across the Infinite Kitchen product line
Build and maintain APIs and WebSocket protocols bridging cloud streams and on-site robotics
Optimize Postgres databases for accurate order tracking and low latency
Design complex business logic including order prioritization, B2B features, and resource management
Participate in on-call rotation and incident response

Principales exigences

2+ years of professional software development experience
Proficiency in Elixir and the Phoenix framework (or equivalent functional language with intent to master Elixir)
Experience with PostgreSQL and database design
Strong understanding of real-time communication (WebSockets, Phoenix Channels) and event-driven architecture
Experience with RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs
Pragmatic problem-solving approach and focus on reliable, real-world systems
