They design, validate, and launch advanced propulsion systems, integrating hardware, software, and innovation across features like drive modes and energy management.
Aufgabengebiet
- Define and structure propulsion feature software - focusing on energy management, torque delivery, and drive mode functionality for hybrid and fuel-based vehicles.
- Translate customer and system requirements into detailed software feature specifications compliant with ASPICE and ISO 26262 standards.
- Collaborate closely with OEM engineering teams on feature design, requirement alignment, validation planning, and issue resolution.
- Ensure software implementation aligns with vehicle-level performance and system integration targets.
- Work with system engineers and validation teams to verify function behavior via test and simulation.
- Support building up the German local software architecture and propulsion competence team.
Anforderungsprofil
- Strong background in propulsion / powertrain software systems, with hands-on experience in energy management, torque coordination, and drive mode features.
- Experience with hybrid and/or fuel-based powertrains.
- Proven experience defining and validating feature-level software, not just implementing low-level embedded or BSW components.
- Familiarity with ASPICE and ISO 26262 process frameworks.
- Ability to interact with customers on technical topics, clarify requirements, and define software behavior.
- Fluent in German (professional or native level).
