In this role you support Swiss banks and financial institutions by delivering secure and reliable ICT services and card-related digital solutions. You will operate and optimize heterogeneous IT environments, handle incidents, and ensure system availability with strong security practices. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to drive migrations, upgrades, and expansions, contributing to Thales’ mission of secure digital interactions. This is a hands-on, collaborative position with a focus on reliability, security, and customer service.

Responsabilités

Operate, monitor, and maintain ICT services across complex, heterogeneous environments
Diagnose and resolve incidents, initiate escalations and fallback procedures
Execute and validate recovery, restart, and restore processes for system availability
Monitor system performance and workload; implement tuning and optimization
Enforce information security standards and manage data backup processes
Drive and support IT infrastructure projects including migrations, upgrades, expansions
Support users and development teams; maintain system documentation; provide 2nd/3rd level support

Principales exigences

Completed qualification in IT system engineering or platform development
At least 2 years of experience in complex IT environments
Strong expertise in virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
Solid knowledge of networking, firewalls, and IDS management
Flexible adaptability to changing assignments and operational demands
Strong communication and execution skills; ability to work independently
Customer-focused, proactive mindset; effective collaboration in teams
German and English proficiency
