As Engineering Manager at Qred, you will shape organizational design, people leadership, and ways of working within the Revenue Domain. You’ll guide two development teams, aligning practices with the Qred Engineering Maturity Model to boost efficiency. You’ll partner with CTO, Architects, Product Managers, and the CRO to drive growth-aligned technical decisions. You’ll recruit, mentor, and retain top engineering talent as the company scales across Europe. This is a hands-on leadership role in a fast-paced fintech environment with a focus on high-performing, cross-functional collaboration.

Responsabilités

Oversee performance and staff management for ~10 engineers
Champion Agile, Lean, Continuous Delivery, and DevOps; drive QEMM coherence
Foster collaboration between Engineering, Product Management, and UX Design
Define team structures and optimize resource allocation for scaling in Europe
Lead recruitment strategy to build a world-class engineering team
Collaborate closely with CTO, Architects, Product Managers, and CRO to align with growth strategy

Principales exigences

A passion for mentoring and developing engineering talent
Broad full-stack technical background; preferred Javascript (Node.js / React / React Native)
Understanding of Serverless-first and Event-driven architecture
Minimum 2 years as Head of Engineering or 5 years as Engineering Manager in a sizable org
University engineering degree
Deep knowledge of Agile, DevOps, and modern software principles
Excellent cross-functional communication skills
Office-first, Stockholm-based role; hybrid with 3 days in office
Experience with Claude code for automating tasks
