Experteer Overview
As an Electro-Mechanical Designer, you develop electromechanical modules for cutting-edge high-tech equipment in a multi-disciplinary context. You translate specifications into robust concepts and drive designs from concept to production, balancing performance, manufacturability and cost. You work on challenging domains such as E-beam, X-ray, Optical and High-Voltage systems, and contribute to thermal and structural analyses. You collaborate closely with system architects, colleagues from multiple disciplines, suppliers and project teams to deliver high-quality products. This role offers hands-on design, testing, and a strong opportunity to shape innovative solutions in Brainport Eindhoven.

Responsabilités
- Translate specifications into electro-mechanical concepts including budgeting, conceptual and detailed design
- Develop mechanical components and assemblies for electronic devices and PCB enclosures
- Conduct design verification, build prototypes, and perform mechanical testing and validation with reporting
- Collaborate with system architect, mechanical, electrical teams, project managers, suppliers, and broader project teams
- Ensure manufacturability, durability, and cost-efficient solutions in enclosure, heatsink and RF/EMI shielding designs
- Provide input to thermal and structural analyses for full-module thermal management
- Contribute to the electromechanical competence within the organization and support technical growth
Principales exigences
- 7+ years of electromechanical design experience
- Experience developing modules for E-beam, X-ray, Optical and/or High-Voltage systems
- Proven track record designing mechanical components for electronic devices and PCB assemblies
- Strong 3D CAD skills with ability to produce 2D drawings and engineering documentation
- Knowledge of Materials (non-magnetic), insulation, environmental conditions (vacuum, thermal, cleanliness)
- Design for Assembly & Manufacturing experience
- Strong multidisciplinary understanding and hands-on, pragmatic approach
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Bonus: basic knowledge of precision mechanics
