In this role, you will oversee corporate-level accounting and financial reporting, ensuring accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual results. You’ll coordinate with the VP of Financial Operations and supervise accounting functions across facilities. The position involves cash management, tax and compliance tasks, and collaboration with auditors and institutions. You’ll shape financial processes and ensure timely, precise reporting that supports strategic decision‑making and regulatory adherence.
Responsabilités
- Process payroll direct deposit and related files for multiple facilities
- Validate ACH and positive pay transactions and resolve discrepancies
- Coordinate wire transfers for payroll taxes and benefits
- Produce daily cash position reports and assist in cash forecasting
- Support annual Home Office Cost Report and respond to audit requests
- Manage month-end closing and accruals for AHMC and Calmeds
- Maintain loan and inter-company balance schedules and reconciliations
- Prepare bank reconciliations and ensure GL balances tie to statements
- Assist in preparing monthly/combined financial statements
- Prepare tax-related statements and property tax filings
- Handle vendor inquiries, process invoices, and issue checks
- Summarize inter-company transactions and manage insurance allocations
- Contribute to quarterly distributions of management fees
- Support management with additional financial summaries as needed
- Prepare payroll funding transmittals by wire
- Address missing bill issues via LA County statements
- Perform other duties as assigned
Principales exigences
- Five years of accounting experience
- Knowledge of government regulations related to the functional area
- BA/BS degree required; MA/MS degree preferred
